“A child is a rare gift given by Krishna but at the same time a great responsibility – every parent has the responsibility to see that his child grows up Krishna Consciousness.” – Srila Prabhupada
What kind of values would we want our children to inculcate in their lives? What would fan their curiosity? What kind of association would we want our children to have?
At Bhaktivedanta Sunday School every Sunday from 12:45pm-2.45pm for more than 150 kids from age group 4-14yrs, we aim to provide carefully chosen knowledge, skills and values centered around spiritual teachings from vedic literature to our students.
The curriculum has been developed by the experts from the selected portions of Bhagvad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam and goes through each week with a different lesson plan.and encompass sloka memorization, art and craft activities, musical instruments, picnics, skits, etiquettes, etc aimed at cultivating virtuous values.
Each session will be facilitated by one of our volunteer teachers. They will be accompanied by at least one volunteer teaching assistant. Both our teachers and teaching assistants have undergone an interview process, have experience in working with children.
All registrations are on a first-come first-served basis as we have limited spaces. By registering, you commit to your child/children attending Sunday School on most weeks so that they fully benefit from the sessions.
