Join us in celebrating the auspicious appearance day of Lord Balarama, the revered elder brother of Lord Sri Krishna. Lord Balarama, also known as Baladeva and Sankarshana, appeared as the son of Rohini and Vasudeva. He bestows the spiritual strength required to overcome hurdles on our journey of self-realization. On this sacred day, devotees observe a fast until noon and pray for His divine strength.
At ISKCON Ujjain, our Deities will be adorned in beautiful new dresses and jewelry. A grand abhisheka for the utsava Deities of Krishna and Balarama will be organised. The Deities will be bathed with panchamrita, panchagavya, a variety of fruit juices, herbal-infused water, and tender coconut water. A grand arati will follow, accompanied by the melodious kirtana.
